Introduction

If you are reading this information you might be considering making a donation or offering your support to our charity, so thank you.

You are able to contribute towards our work to care for and educate vulnerable West African children through a variety of simple methods. From donating essential materials and resources, to donating one-off funds, to becoming a monthly sponsor of our Daycare & Nursery Centre, to helping us share the stories of the people we support and the projects we undertake. As a small charity, we absolutely depend on the help and support that our friends like you can offer!

At the bottom of this page you will find our current, specific fundraising appeals, which support live projects or work we would like to undertake. Click on the appeal and it will explain what your money will be used for and how to make a donation. However, if you would like to make a general donation to our charity, you can use any of the three Payment Method boxes listed below the appeals. If you would like to make a bank-to-bank transfer, simply Contact Us so we can provide you with our bank account details.

All donations to our charity are regulated by the UK Charities Commission, including our annual accounts and annual report which demonstrates how our funds have been used, to ensure ethical oversight, transparency and best practice, and in-line with our Terms & Conditions. Our Board of Directors hold ultimate responsbility for deciding how our funds are spent and their decisions are based on coprehensive assesments of the priorities within our projects & programmes. And when you donate to a small charity like ours, you can be sure as little money as possible is wasted on the expensive advertising campaigns and bureaucracies that many larger organisations require. Our team in West Africa work and live in the communities we serve, we understand the priorities of the people and we make absolutely sure that all the work we do delivers real results. Nothing is wasted.

If you would like to learn about other ways you can support our charity - such as donating goods and materials, helping us tell the stories of the children and families we support, or organising partnerships through which we can be your dedicated charity at your place of work, for example - then please view, download, or share our quartely 'How You Can Support Us' brief here.

On behalf of the Partner West Africa team - and of course the many West African children, families and communities whom we support - we would like to sincerely thank you for any contribution or support you can offer. And if you need any further assistance regarding making a donation to our charity or making payments for our volunteering placements, please contact us here.

The PWA Malaria Prevention Programme 2017

Malaria is one of the major causes of child mortality, for children aged under 5, in our local communities. PWA has been delivering an all-inclusive, collaborative anti-Malaria programme to respond to this silent killer. Working in partnership with the Ghana Healthcare Service, other NGOs and academic institutions, PWA delivers best-practice Malaria testing, treatment, education, and distribution of preventative resources (such as malaria nets and repellents). Please support this most critical of appeals & help us save lives!

Support Our 2017 Educational Appeal

Our 2017 'Equip a Child for School' Appeal, allows many of the children we support to receive their first ever personal school equipment! For the 60 to 70 underprivileged children who attend our Daycare & Nursery Centre for vulnerable children, we'd like your help to provide an ongoing supply of essential school equipment such as backpacks, pencil cases, & school shoes, that the children will need throughout 2017: Help us 'Equip a Child for School'!
